If it's 19" Widescreen LCD Put the Res up to 1440x900....

As said for the stretching, if you have a widescreen monitor it's going to stretch it if you set the res at a full screen res such as 1024x768... 1440x900 is what I set my 19" widescreen LCDs on.

I have an 19" widescreen LCD and the resolution is always stretched and looks big on anything below 1440x900. If its smaller the image has 2 strech across all the pixels and because its widescreen its got 30% more to strech across thats y if you look on the screens instructions it has a recomended resolution. Also i wouldent recomend it anyway because it will look all big and u wont be able to fit as much stuff on it anyway. XD hope this explains y XD. and it has nothing to do with you grafix card the reason it lookes streched.
