Network Hub

Hey, i have my ps3 and my computer in my bedroom, and our router is in our den wich is downstairs, i have a cable running up the floor into my room for my ps3, now how do i hook my computer to it without runnig another cable up the floor??

the best thing to do is to buy a wireless router and a wireless network card for ur computer, the ps3 is wireless anyway so you dont need to buy anything for that, and theye will be no more wires going up and down ur floor

eh hardwire is better than wireless though. If you already have one wire going to the room, a network switch will do just fine.

It would be better just to buy a switch, and hook the cord already running up to your room to it. Then buy two more ethernet cords and connect your PC\PS3 to the switch.

If you can avoid wireless when your gaming, then do so, its always faster that way

ya, but the shipping is way to high, it is $277 shipping ground for about 12 items which is my full build and most things on there are $30 more than what they should be, then direct canada is free ground shipping. ok, just to make sure, if i run my ethernet cable which is used on my ps3 now
into that switcher then into my rounter that is hooked to our quadro internet, then run calbes from the switcher to each system, ill have inernet, cause i tried a d-link router and it didnt work, so do i have to have the switcher???
