wireless keyboard/ps3

ok so i got the keyboard in my sig and i can plug it in to the ps3 and use it wirelessly but when i get to a certain amount of characters it won't let for type anymore.

why is this? is it the ps3's way of saying screw you go and spend 60 on another keyboard thats made for the ps3 and by the same company

nah if you took the time to type it out just with your controller. it would do the same thing bud! its just PS3's way of making sure the internet doesnt get congested. So dont type as much.
