Virus Help

I apparently got a virus, not sure how, but it didn't show up on a virus scan, and the only thing that seems to be effected is my Internet use. It is lagging terribly. No other programs seem to be having any issues. Does anyone have experience with such a virus and what can I do about it?

what makes you so sure its a virus?, have you tested your internet speed to see if your ISP is capping you, are you using Internet explorer because its crap and slow, try using FIREFOX

Also, make sure that it isn't something like spyware, malware, or adware. I would run all of your scans just to be on the safe side. Make sure that they are up-to-date too.
