Question about replacing my motherboard

Hello everybody

My USB ports don't work and I want to replace my motherboard. I currently have an Asus P4P800 SE. I would just buy one of those but they are discontinued. So I am wondering what do I need to take into consideration when buying a new motherboard so that I will be sure my processor and memory will be compatible with it.

Power Supply: Not sure

You need whatever socket your processor is and a motherboard that supports DDR RAM. You should find a motherboard very cheap. You have an old system. No company makes AGP motherboards anymore.

this one looks like it would work but it says Supported RAM Technology: DDR2 SDRAM

would the DDR SDRAM i have work in this?

actually nevermind i just looked up some ddr2 sdram and saw that i can upgrade from 512mb to 2gb for about 20 bucks
