You have to be a bit more specific. Stuff like hard drive, cache, RAM timings and etc. make a big difference. It seems good. Could be a bit excessive depending on what he is using it for.

Seems okay. It won't do any heavy gaming. But, for basic gaming, it's more than enough. 8GB RAM seems like a bit much?

he put 8gb in it because we made a lot of PCs and it was just hanging around not being used

anyway crysis on medium no AA will play with over 30 FPS?

I don't know at what FPS, but Crysis should be very playable at medium settings with no AA.
