Just found another with same name but diff model. It is cheaper how does it compare? http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX21941(ME).aspx

Like Title says. This laptop is $400, I am looking for a mini laptop for my girlfriend. She doesn't do a whole lot. I would prefer vista and 2GB of RAM. She mainly wants to use it for school (writing papers) and internet(alot of facebook), she also would be using it for music and maybe some movies. The hard drive seems about right size for her needs but I would like Vista home premium and 2GB of RAM if anyone knows of a good deal.

Also how fast is the processor? What would you compare it too for desktop processors speed(I am bad with laptop processors). I have an old hp pavillion zv5000. Is this computer alot faster than that one?

Alright well this whole page has them all near top just organize by price. Anyone recommend the best one? http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/Computers(ME)/NotebookComputers(ME)/Default.aspx

most netbooks wont have 2gb from what ive looked at (infact ive seen no netbooks with more then 1GB), probably the reason that most netbooks ive seen dont run vista

but you cant go wrong with any of those netbooks on that page

that looks fairly good for what she plans to do with it

if you really want vista and 2GB of Ram you will have to have move up into full sized laptops

i recently bought this one from futureshop:

i do realize its about $500, but for that price its a decent utility laptop

ill be posting a review when i have time

Netbooks usually have Linux on them, don't they? All the ones I've seen in stores do.

How would you watch the videos? What format?

avi. I was looking at them and I don't think I would need vista or 2GB of RAM. It might be good enough as is. Anyone know how fast this laptop is compared to my old hp?
