Lost my color after install SP2

Hey guys I remformatted and installed SP2 but after reboot i lost my color on my screen.In display setting color quality is 4bits.How can i get my normal color back ?? It was fine until installed SP2.

Click on your background, properties, appearance and settings, and then change whatever you need. Hit apply and you should be good.

you have to install your video card drivers after that then do what rohan said

i had the same issue when i installed Vista after just finishing my build.
Since it was my first time building a computer, i made a mistake of plugging the wrong cord from the power supply to my gpu. Essentially after installing the drivers the card wasn't getting enough power, forcing it to display 4bit colors. All i had to do was plug the right power cord into the GPU.
It probably won't solve your issue but it did for me.
