Hi there all.
I have a Toshiba Satellite a 305. Not that old. purchased around june.
I am very frustrated that my speaker is not working.
Its just my left speaker.
Not due to any programs that Im aware of.
Im almost positive that its a loose cable. Not sure how to fix this though.
When I move the laptop a certain way, then I will get sound. Other times it works fine. But Ive noticed it getting increasingly worse.
I've gotten into the inside of my laptop before, but is there something certain that I should do to try and fix this myself.
I would rather not have to take it anywhere

Is this an External speaker? Internal speaker? Headphone speakers? Earphone speakers? Headset speaker? Microphone speaker? Motivational speaker?

These are questions that I need to know before I can provide my expertise.

^ its pretty obvious its an internal speaker for a laptop..

have a look at the wiring to the speaker, check the wires for breaks or nicks and re-solder the wire back on if required, it sounds like it should just be a re-solder :)

thanks for the advice all.

and yes, I thought it was obvious that it was an INTERNAL speaker.
they're nice Harman/Kardon speakers.
mini subwoofers. lol

sound is so good when they both work together. lol
