is there an auto shutdown start up program?

what the title says. Is there a program that would shut down my pc at a given hour, and then start it back up at a given hour?

You could try this but i think it only works for shutdown, as for auto start up I don't think any program is capable(i might be wrong)

WELL, You cool use Scheduled tasks to shut down your computer - And some BIOSes (Bioses? Or Bi-i..) let you set an alarm...

Thats what i was thinking.

really simple just set a scheduled task for daily with the program its set to run being

shutdown -s -f
sometimes it needs to be
shutdown /s /f

and bam youre done

That's the shutdown part, but we need to figure out how to get it back up. Check the BIOS for an alarm feature or maybe if you have the right equipment set something up to tag your NIC's Wake-On-LAN (WOL) feature to boot it up at a certain time.
