Ok, so I am looking to buy a desktop computer. Dell Outlet has a great deal right now with 20% off the Studio 540.

My needs are as follows:

• Tons of web browsing, many Chrome windows simultaneously
• Photoshop/minor video editing
• Continuous virus scan in background
• Excel and statistical analysis
• Remote desktop and support

After the coupon code it comes to $487. The following are my questions:

1. Will this perform to my needs?
2. Is the memory too slow?
3. Am I able to upgrade the processor in here?
4. Is it worth it to just grab this deal and then maybe buy even a faster/better motherboard?
5. Am I able to easily add another optical drive to this?

FYI - I will also keep an eye on the outlet. If a 94XX/9550 Quad Core opens up, should I snatch it?
