Wikipedia Blacklisted?

Well after looking up the article on wikipedia it is kind of a graphic photo. I am surprised it was allowed to be printed, in my opinion it is disgusting.

that is pretty disgusting. I can't believe that they haven't come out with a censored version since all the child porn crap these days.

This was back in the 70's. The parents gave permission too. I would imagine that social morals were much different back then.

"We believe it's worth noting that the image is currently visible on Amazon, where the album can be freely purchased by UK residents. It is available on thousands of websites that are accessible to the UK public."

Ironically, the banning of the image has only made it visible to more people as news sites publicise the issue and the image spreads across sites other than Wikipedia.
It's much ado about nothing. All this because some "prude" reported the picture.

just because the parents gave permission doesn't mean its right. I'm sure there are some nut job parents that would giver permission for anything.

So are the 6 large ISP's now using proxy servers to do this filtering?

I really don't think any sites should be filtered by ISP's at all, should work at taking offending sites down.
