completely different question i have a Abit Fatal1ty AN9 32X lying around.is it still worth building a pretty sick gaming pc around it or is it already outdated
That would still make for a nice gaming rig. The nForce 590 SLI is a great performing chipset. It's a very good overclocker and can do most anything the newer boards can do except run the Phenom AM2+ processors.
The only outdated thing I see on it is the 800MHz memory standard. Maybe the 590 chipset. But the chipset will be fine, heard it's pretty good. You could build something pretty decent around that.
