which wireless router should i buy?

Hi,i want to make my laptop wireless.its has wireless LAN b/g..56k modem V.90..10/100 Mbit LAN..(whatever all that means).i was looking at a NETGEAR RANGEMAX WPN824 .is this a good one to get?im on virgin .thanks

I beg to differ. I have a Belkin, and it is much more reliable than my old netgear - Although I like Netgear, too...

yeah iv heard few bad reviews bout them .netgear seems to be a popular 1..just want to make sure i get right one.needs to be compatable with vista as well

Netgear makes a very good router. If the price is right and it has the features you want, grab it.

I prefer Linksys products myself.

i have a belkin and it has some issues with connecting with macs and pc's at the same time. ex- if on on my pc and i turn on my mac it will boot my pc off the internet idk why its weird
