Some help building my first computer.

Alright well I'm attempting to build my first computer please don't laugh lol.Anways I'm 16 my budget is $250-$280 I am confused as you can tell,I want to make sure all these components are compatable together before i order them from newegg.com.I play light gaming like Gta san andreas witch right now i use a P4 3.2GHz an 1GB of ram and not a good video card.So any help/information please kindly help me out an let me know if this is a good choice for my budget an good for light gaming.

I don't know how long that computer will last you. That would be a better media/internet computer. You need AT LEAST a budget of $500 to build a decent computer. You could build this computer now and not be able to play any of the newer games on it. Or, just save up a little more and build something decent that will play most game on medium settings.
