Ok i am just wondering if my ISP can see everything i do related to the internet? i am on Rogers in Ontario fyi.

Yes, they usually keep logs of all sites linked to your IP address in case of any needed information (i.e. supoenas, internet abuse investigations, etc.)

They have to keep logs, but its not like someone in the office is looking at one person's IP useage. They have tonnes of users, so privacy really isn't a problem in the end. It's only if they have to take action, that they pick up on what you are doing.

how long do they keep those records? and isn't that violating privacy?

In a way, I guess it is, but even Google store what you search for. Same goes for Youtube.

The records can be kept for many years.

Ok, so these records...is it something that could be sent to me via mail? or is it just for security reasons?

Its just for security reasons, but no, they wouldn't send it you via e-mail. Why?

Employees won't see you, but the computers know, yet I don't think they'd care much.
