This could be the end of high end GPU's. Essentially what Microsoft has done is finally allowing the CPU to supplement integrated or older graphics processors to increase performance by a significant amount. Imagine even with this software if you did have a high-end card, what type of performance would be possible.

Its interesting but not sure if I completly understand what it is saying, especially when it comes down to the charts when playing Crysis.
Are the CPU WARP showings, without a graphics card installed? At what res? etc.
 
I read somewhere crysis was run at 800x600 low for the warp test.
Also won't warp slow down the os because of the extra load on the cpu?

Besides when windows 7 releases at the end of next year everyone should atleast have a dx9 video card which can run aero no problem.
