Unexpected internet explorer crash

My internet explorer keeps crashing for some reason....It's happening randomly. All of the sudden it crashes and windows tells me it needs to close. IM running a laptop under windows xp. Any idea how i can fix this? I ran spyspot already and it didnt fix it. I also disabled all my startup programs in msconfig and nothing....

But to help the poster, this happens with my firefox when I put too much stress on it, thank god for recover session.
Even firefox has its kinks, it turns out you might just have to end up living with it.
If it becomes a real problem try reinstalling it.

If everytime you open it up you expect it crash then that will get rid of the unexpected crashes. good to be able to help.
