So my laptop hard drive is only a 180 gig, but you know, actually 150. That's to small so I'm wondering what hard drive would best suit me. The bigger the better of course so I'm looking at these two hard drives for my laptop.

This guy has 320Gb of space and runs ar 7200 RPMs with a 16mb cache.

This one has 500Gb but runs at 5400 RPMs and has an 8mb cache.

I like to play video games and download music and movies, I'm no expert on hard drives so I'd like some input on which to get. Will the RPM difference matter or the cache size? I'm not worried about power consumption either.

I would think for video games and downloading and such, the cache and RPMs would play a role because that directly affects performance. Anyone else care to weigh in?

You'll get shorter battery life, but if that doesn't bother you then get the 7200RPM.
