32-bit only 4 GB


i would highly reccomeding getting 64-bit

maybe even 8 GB becuase

6GB-2GB from GPU-1GB from vista- 512mb from random things = 2.5GB

while if you have 8GB you get 4.5GB

6GB is pretty much the least you can do. There has been many complaints on the X58 chipset about it not working with dual-channel, so you're forced to use triple-channel. And...triple-channel! Who'd not want to go with that? Definitely worth the extra couple bucks.

If you're a gamer go with Vista. Vista has support for DX10 while XP only has support for DX9c.
