Making a Fanless PC?

MINERAL OIL! I really want to see someone on these forums do it. It's easy to do and provides great results. You would just need a way of keeping the tank or container cold.

If it helps any I took the fan out of my psu on my server. Runs 24/7 for about 5 months now and I don't have any problems. Not a real big performer though, only 250w. I sealed the case except for the PSU and put an exhaust at the top to hopefully bring some air over the PSU.

Line the case with sound-deadening foam. Go with low-RPM fans and only use the amount of fans you need. Get rubber mounts for the fans and hard drives to help with vibrations.
