Getting Correct Monitor Resolution

I have recently had to switch from my video card back to the integrated graphics. For some reason I can't get back to 1440x900 resolution which is the factory default for my HP w1907 19' Wide screen monitor. I was wondering if anybody had some suggestions on a method I could try to get it back. I have tried to install the drivers from hp website, it states that they are there but I reboot and still can't get 1440x900.

I have never checked for the model of a Integrated graphics setup. How would I go about doing this?

I'm assuming this is a prebuilt HP computer. What model and model # is your computer itself? (i.e. Pavilion 6835)

What happens when you try to change the resolution to 1440x900? Does the resolution not get that high? Or does the monitor not show a picture?

Well when ever I try to change the resolution I can't get 1440x900 as a option and then when I tried to auto adjust to 1440x900 it doesn't do anything
