New computer is restarting over and over

Good evening. I just ran into a problem with my computer that's been recently upgraded. I finished the upgrade today by installing motherboard, CPU and Ram. When I finally was ready to push the power button, the machine restarted all the time. It runs for about three to ten seconds before it stops for about four seconds and then on again. And so on

Sometimes it actually stays on, but the BIOS freezes early on. I've been googling around and learned that it could be hardware error or virus/spyware.

1.It's definitely not virus, because the harddrive is recently been formatted to install XP over again.
2.I've been over the connectors, and it's all looking good.
3. I suspect the CPU. Had a bit of fury with the fan.

Specs:

Cabinet Antec Twelve Hundred
Ram: 8 Gb Corsair Dominator
GPU: Gainward Geforce 9800 GT
CPU: AMD Phenom 9850
Motherboard: Asus M3N-HT Deluxe/Mempipe
PSU: ModXStream 780W
HH: Samsung SpinPoint 250 GB

If you know, have any tricks, or experience about this issue. Please tell me.

I've always had bad luck with any build with the Dominators, be it my own system or one for work. Try it with three sticks of ram in instead of the four.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, it didn't work, but I tried booting with only the PSU and the onboard graphic card, and it worked. When I added the CPU, the problem came back, so I'm a bit afraid that the CPU is the problem
