Norton Ghost, or some sort of ghosting, imaging software will let you copy it to another HDD. I have vista OEM as well, you can switch it to another HDD I think.

I am not sure. But I think if you just call microsoft and tell them your HDD crashed they'll issue a new key.

There SHOULD be a COA On the side of the computer otherwise it's illegal?

I have reinstalled Vista on a new hardrive but in the same computer and it didnt even ask me for the COA.
