help - need permission to remove ThreatFire

whats up with that, im the admin on my computer, why wont it let me delete ThreatFire. anyway around this

Are you running Vista? Are you making sure to allow Vista to uninstall it when the UAC message comes up? Check the taskbar for any possibility that the prompt is at the bottom. Also if you have a Business, Ultimate, or Professional (XP) system, try accessing the "Administrator" account because even for me being an admin on my computer, occasionally I have to log into "Administrator" to do something.

i have vista home pre and i dont get any kind of pop ups or prompts or anything

Well since Threatfire is an antivirus program, when was the last time you checked for malware/viruses?

i ran Malwarebytes 4 days ago

its fixed now
