windows isnt functioning corectly

ok now this sucks because they dont give you an os disk with laptops so i cant reformat like id like... but windows keeps having errors when installing programs and stuff on my laptop... is there anyway to get this fixed without having to buy a new os to install

no, theres no blue screen of death... its just when i go to install some programs im getting errors like this

ok im starting to get a little annoyed... i followed that site perfectly but i think more is missing on my computer... is there a program to tell me exactly what drivers and files are missing on my computer...
