Im building my first computer and still a tiny bit confused about everything im buying everything new except a monitor, ill be using a HP pavilion MX70 with this setup...

But do older style monitors work on new motherboards with the VGA input, from the specs and pictures i have read/seen they say nothing about VGA inputs, just want to know if i have to purchase a new screen or not? . also if anyone has any suggestions on different/better parts feel free to throw that in. Thanks heaps :)

If you're graphics card doesnt have VGA on it,it will have what they call 'DVI',your graphics card should come with a VGA to DVI Converter.

The GeForce 9600GT you'll be using has dual DVI video outputs. You'll need to use a DVI-VGA adapter to use the CRT monitor. The video card will come with the needed adapters.
