Sounds like your in the same situation as me. I stick with air cooling and a TRUE and an Ultra Kaze fan/Silverstone FM122 etc will do your Q6600 justice. What's your VID BTW? You might have a gem.

Dont get what you mean about the cooler and fan.

TRUE + low RPM fan =
TRUE + high RPM/high static pressure fan =

And doesnt the p5Q have crossfire support?

Only one PCI-E x16 slot, so no.

Ah, there is very little chance ill be able to afford a second 4870X2 but ill go for it because its the same price. Also, What do you mean what is my VID?

Open up Coretemp, you'll see. <1.3V is good for a Q6600, <1.25V is excellent.

Unfortunatly havnt got the q6600 into a build yet because at the moment im running probably the most apauling system youll have seen for a while. but it says its voltage is 1.25 on the box
