I like YouTube itself but I tend to ignore the comments.

What happened when they were bought by Google?

The only difference I notice with YouTube is the major influx of annoying, immature people.

Oh you know, before it was kinda more like a close knit community, after the sale it seemed to go "more maintream" which the owners obviously thought was the best direction to take their website. Maybe i'm just getting old and boring, but yeah I agree with you in saying there seems to be many, many immature video's posted on there, silly comments and the like.

Agreed, rick rolling got old fast.

I don't read Youtube comments unless I'm looking for a song used in a video.

I read them to get my daily dose of laughing at stupid people.
