im trying to install my quad core processor (45nm) in my asus p5e3 deluxe wifi @n motherboard, and i KNOW i have to update my bios for it to recognize it, can someone give me the exact link to where i can get the drivers to recognize it. also i was wondering i installed 1404 (the newest one i could find) and it still didnt detect it do i need to install multiple drivers?

Do you know how to flash your BIOS?

ASUS makes it pretty easy with a BIOS utility called EZFlash, simply put the BIOS file onto a flash drive, select the path in EZFlash and your BIOS will be automatically flashed.

You will need an already recognized LGA775 CPU so that you can enter the BIOS.

yea i have a 1.8 single core im using right now and i have done the ezflash bios, i updated my bios to version 1404 which is the newest one on their website. but i drop in my quad core and try to start up the computer and i get nothing as if its still not recognizing it.
