One man was killed and four people were injured Wednesday morning when the trailer of a transport truck hauling copper pipe flipped over a guardrail and crashed onto a highway below.

One of the busiest highway intersections in Toronto has been closed so police can investigate.

The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 427, the Queen Elizabeth Way and the Gardiner Expressway in southwest Toronto.

wow...i'd be scared shitless if i saw that come falling down on me

It will be interesting to see exactly what happened after the investigation.

Sad sad day, I'm surprised traffic was up to speed enough on that section to do anything as well. Usually slow as hell, even more so getting onto the 427 like the truck was.

yeah tell me about it.
i'm curious myself to know what exactly happened...or what caused this trailor to go over.

my mom was late to work by an hour today because of that...
and i was late to school because the detour around that caused traffic down near my place which is like 10km or more from there
