I have an 8800GTS 512mb, it works great. EVGA, pre-overclocked, even though I turn it up a bit still. I can MAX any game on the market. I can play Farcry 2 maxed smoothly, assassins creed, Mass Effect, Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Age of Empires 2... Although in Crysis I can't quite turn on AA at 1680x1050... And AOE2 gets low frame rates when the graphics are maxed...

It crashes within minutes. Would 2.4GHz be good for a year or two?
