i wouldnt use an dual processor card unless its either in SLI or Crossfire. But thats just me.
i dont think its worth getting the 9800GTX, i think its better to get the 9800GTX+

They're running the 512MB version of the 4870 compared to the 1GB and 896MB 280?! That's why it's better. Try comparing it to the 4870x2.

Actually the HD 4800 series has no problems with it's smaller amount of VRAM, they don't slow down at the higher resolutions where a lack of VRAM would hurt the most.

9800GTX+ is the new one, if it can be called new, it's basically an overclocked 9800GTX.
