i would too, but i think my ISP is on to me, so im going to wait a month till i start using it again.

good idea. i know someone who had an issue that the ISP brought up LOL...not worth the hastle :p
 
Yep, if you're downloading anything P2P you need to virus scan it before touching anything. Generally though, you should be able to try to avoid malware by looking in the comments on popular torrents.

Definitely makes things a LOT safer, and can actually speed up your downloads by reducing the amount of "wasted" downloaded material (the MPAA and RIAA and such organizations actually send you bad data, so it wastes your download time)

does this prevent ur ISP from seeing what ur downloading?
