Windows died?

I was just about to open firefox and I got 3 errors all at once saying these diff programs had to end. I said ok to all 3 and tried to start firefox. It opened for 1/80th of a second then had the firefox error reporter opened and said firefox crashed. Well I went on thinking that it was a one-timer. Well suprise suprise, it happened again! What is going on? This happens whenever I start ANY program. There were no recent hardware/software changes. Please help!

P.S. I have a custom built, and restore won't work. So, no, recovery wont work either.

did you try running a virus scan in safe mode, thats how many virus' start

Could be any number of things. Try booting from an ubuntu Live CD.

If all runs smoothly, then just re-install windows. If not, then it's proberbly a hardware issue.

Infact, you could just try re-installing windows.

Well, there's your problem. That "theme manager fix" borked your system. To start in safe mode, press F8 during boot up. See if you can uninstall that "fix" while in safe mode.
