Agreed. What makes me laugh more is the fact that XP still has bugs (why else would there be security updates yet?) and it's what seven years old?

Every OS has had a bunch of security flaws that have needed fixing.

Some updates are to increase security, some are to add features and keep with the times, some are to squash security exploits and others to fix application problems.

Looks like some cool features there, I think I'll skip vista and go straight for 7 when it comes out

People go on about Vista having bugs, but what are they ? At the moment i'm only on Vista Home Basic (just ordered Ultimate upgrade) but the only thing wrong i can see is the time it takes for vista to load when i first turn my laptop on.

It's more bugs with old software not designed for it, or lack of driver support.
