Need some help.

I'm thinking on buying the AMD 6000+ processor but I just wanted to know if I buy it do also need to buy a separate cooler. Basically all I'm going to be doing is playing video games and the most demanding one is Crysis. Should I buy a separate cooler or am I fine with the cooler it comes with.

Also should I get the XFX 9600GT XXX edition or the XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog?

The 6000+ X2 comes with it's own stock cooler as long as you buy the retail boxed version, not OEM.

The 8800GT is the faster of the two.

They don't have the x2 edition where I'm from.

What he said holds true for all processors though. If you buy the retail version you will get a cooler with it, if you buy the OEM version it will not.

There's no single core 6000+. The 6000+ is a dual core, hence the X2.
