Should i be getting higher FPS

ok having to 9800GTX+'s in sli these were the FPS that fraps showed while i was game playing. this is based on an average.

Call Of Duty 4 = 90-91
Need For Speed ProStreet = 45-50

While during the intro movie of NFS Prostreet i was getting an average reading of like 923FPS-856FPS.

Is this good??

i think prostreet got a cap on the FPS.
I get 30FPS when i play, it never goes up, and it never goes down.
Its best that way because its not good when FPS jumps from 20FPS to 80FPS.

SLI'ing only gets about 40% increase depending on the game varies. Sometimes, a single card beats multi cards.
I get about 30FPS-40FPS on single player on CoD4 on max and 1680x1050 resolution. So it looks about right.
