I have Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse and Keyboard 2000. Aren't that great. I want an USB keyboard and mouse. What do you guys think about these products? If you don't like them. Recommend something for around the same price.

out of those keyboards, i like the Logisys Multimedia Illuminated Keyboard - Black.
the mouse seems pretty bad, i would recommend getting a different one.

EDIT - i dont like the G15, it looks ugly to me. I like Saiteks Eclipse instead.

Looks ugly?? how so...i think its pretty stylish compared to many of the keyboards i've seen...that light up that is. But you have your right to your opinion. :)

haha.
i dont know, it looks too, robotish... hard to think of the right thing. Like its too advance for me to handle.

wow, mines was $50.....
what do you mainly plan to use the mouse and keyboard for?

Gaming and everyday use. I don't need 4000 dpi, haha. Even 1000 is enough for me. That's what my current mouse is right now.

Well, I would have said the Razer Lachesis, but that's got 4000dpi. I would recommend the Boomslang, Deathadder or Copperhead. Go on the razer site and do the mouse configuration quiz. It will tell you what Razer Gaming mouse is right for you.

Atm I have the MX Revolution mouse, it's good for everyday use, but it's shit for gaming, so I might hand it back in for a Lachesis.

And I also have the G15 keyboard. It's pretty good, I just keep accidentally pressing the G6 key instead of CTRL and the G1 key instead of the ESC key.
But you get use to it.

My old mouse and keyboard was a wireless microsoft one. It was alright, it was free so I can't complain. The bad thing was the battery didn't last long and the signal was low, but it's old technology so yehh...

The MX Revolution sometimes lags every now and then too...

WIRED FTW

Yay, another G15 user. I too had that problem, with always pushing the G keys LOL. But yeah, over time you get used to it. At first when i got my keyboard...i had to adjust to its size...as the G15 is a pretty long keyboard...but none the less...and amazing keyboard, probably couldn't be happier. Quality is A++ and for gaming...A++

I've seen these keyboards on ebay (used tho) for like $30 and cheaper...
