monitor help

i am getting a new monitor but and having slight issues deciding what one that i want, i want something that i can game on, and i want it to be 24"
My budget is roughly $500 but if something super nice is slightly higher that's cool

I'd look for something with a decent response time, around 8ms and most of all, something that looks great! Also, don't pay extra for built-in speakers, you'll get much better sound from some of your own.
This has exactly the same specs, but without the HDMI connection (no sound).

It's a lot cheaper and it has a great response time of 2 seconds. It has numerous good reviews.

I went with that one and it looks sweet (only using as a monitor for my laptop at the moment, can't wait till the rest of my parts show up)
