will office 2003 work on VISTA

i feel like a total tool for asking but will MS Office 2003 work on a VISTA OS?
i have ms office with all 3 SP updates (maybe u know the one) and it installed great on my XP computer but my chick wants it on her VISTA pc in new zealand so i was gonna send it to her on a memory stick but am unsure if it will work.

You can,but you might a problem when updating office,because there will now be two copies of office with the same serial.

I do believe office can be installed on a certain amount of PC's. I know way back when you could put it on 7. i think its 3 now, But I am not sure

Assuming it's the standard home and student then you are correct.

How do you plan on sending office to her on a memory stick? That's where I see any potential problems.

Yes you'll be able to run Office 03 just fine, and you should be fine with activating it as well.
