Hello guys,

I recently got Adobe After Effects CS3 (8.0).. It installed fine and it managed to start up as well..
But when I come to importing a video it comes up with an error message.

"After Effects can`t continue: sorry, After Effects has crashed. See hhtp://www.adobe.com/support/products/aftereffects.html for known issues. If you still can`t resolve the issue, please contact Adobe Technical Support (2)."

I`ve tried everything and Googled the problem.

Here are the things, I`ve tried:
-Uninstalled third party Audio and Video Codecs
-Deleted OpenGL
-Uninstalled the entire program and reinstalled
-I can`t run the updater and I don`t know why.
-Updated my graphics Card
-Removed all custom fonts
-Cleared preferences

But still unable to function..

Here all my computer specs.

Microsoft XP 32bit SP3

Intel Xeon 3.06GHz

3GB Ram

Direct X 9.0c

nVidia Quadro FX 2000 (128MB)

Hope you can help

Thanks

I am going to assume you obtained this legally, so why don't you contact adobe's customer service? I wish I could help, but I don't have a clue. That would be my first try though.
