I'm showing my age a bit here.

I have these (and lots more) on the MAME emulator. Until I found them on MAME about 3 years ago I hadn't played any of these since the early 80's but it didn't take me long to get the hang of them again.

I can play all of them (except Mr Do! which I wasn't particularly good at back in the 80's but I love the game) for hours on a single 'credit' if I wanted to.

Best Shooter: Counter Strike: Source, Goldeneye 64
Best Tycoon: Rollercoaster Tycoon with expansions
Best Action/Adventure: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Best Adventure: Myst
Best Survival Horror: Resident Evil 4, Silent Hill
Best Platform: Banjo-Kazooie
Best Sport Games: NFL2k3, MLB with Ken Griffey Jr.
Best Simulations: Ace Combat 4, SimCity, Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing
Best Graphically Advanced Game: Crysis
Game that visually stunned me when I saw it: Half-Life 2
