The power supply is completely overkill...and it's not of very good quality. Get this instead:

I don't think it's wise to get an Intel motherboard for an Nvidia card- especially if you maybe want to pick of another 9800GT along the line to SLI with. (If you plan to SLI, maybe picking up a 550W PSU wouldn't be a bad idea).

The E8400 is fine, if you plan to OC, the E3110 may be a better choice.

Your case comes with a POS 400W PSU- get a different case that doesn't come with one, and that's of better quality. Cooler Master makes some great cheap cases.

As for your grand 8GB of RAM idea- it wouldn't be beneficial. You will see virtually no speed increase. Nothing will ever use 8GB of RAM. (I'd be much better to save for another 9800 GT)

ya i want the PSU with high wattage because i will upgrade my stuff. and i need the power!!!!!!

btw what is a good psu brand? give me a few i want more than 550w

Also, in case you didn't understand what I meant by the Intel motherboard.

It has a P45 chipset. This is an Intel chipset, and generally used with ATI cards. Although it will work with a single 9800 GT, If you ever want to get another 9800GT, you won't be able to. I'm unsure if the performance will degrade, you'll need to wait for a more knowledgeable person to answer that- but if you get a chipset manufactured by Nvidia, like the 750i, you could SLI in the future.

However, if you get a 4850, you will be able to buy another 4850 in the future, and it will work perfectly if your motherboard had more Express x 16 slots...which it doesn't. Maybe switch mobos?

A good 550W PSU will cost you $80-100....you sure?
