Core I7

Alright, they're just about to be released in November and as always won't be cheap. Do you guys think I should sell my current stuff for I7 while its still worth a pretty penny? OR should I stick with this for now and sell it later...

I'm leaning towards selling it later, no game I have will come close to maxing out the Q6600 stock let alone OC'd and I can still work my way up in the C2Q series. My next upgrade I think is going to be a FullATX Case, Water Cooling, new PSU and another 4870.

How much do you guys think the value of C2Q series is going to go down with the I7 release?

There will still be many people still stuck with LGA 775 (Nehalem is a new socket), the price of the motherboard will likely drop, but not so much the price of CPUs.

I have been an Intel fan my whole life, even though my computer currently has an old AMD Athlon 3000+, I will be waiting for the AM3 socket CPU's by AMD.
