question about memory frequency

i got new MB (gigabyte P35-S3G) and a new memory module (2GB DDRII OCZ Platinum XTC PC2-6400). i see it should work at 800mHz, and the board specifications says "Supports DDR2 1066* memory for outstanding system performance". but, in cpuz and everest ultimate, it says that memory works @400mhZ.

That's the correct speed. DDR2 800 runs on a 400MHz front side bus. It essentially doubles the bus speed to reach it's 800MHz operating speed.

DDR (= Double Data Rate) Your memory is running at 800MHz DDR.
