Windows VISTA ::

I got a new computer -- with a new hard drive. I *think* I dragged over my old windows folder so that I wouldn't delete something important until I was ready. But now it looks like Windows.old pretty much matches my current windows folder as if it were mirrored somehow.

I don't remember doing anything incorrectly with the install or... I just am not sure what happened. But now I have a 500GB hard drive with no space on it and I'm not sure I can delete Windows.old without throwing my computer into a trash dump.

Any ideas on how to decipher what's happening? I really need to do everything I can to keep the current install and clean up my problem.

It's supposed to look like your current folder structure, it's pretty much the same stuff. You should just get rid of it to free up some more space, you can use Disk Cleanup to easily get rid of all of it.
