Could anybody confirm for me what this product does?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124279

Is it something that I just install in my room and picks up my wireless network and allows me to use ethernet cables instead of installing a desktop wireless card? Also would let me plug in an ethernet cable to my xbox 360? If anybody could confirm this, it would be much appreciated.

Nevermind, figured it out.

by what i could read
it appears to be like a wireless adapter/reciver
not only can it recive a wireless signal
(its a touch cheaper than Microsofts version for the 360)
it can also transmit a one to connect to another system of the same make
for a LAN connection

also on another note
it works on the N band
and has the ability to be at 2.5 Ghz data transfer speed
or 5 Ghz
depending on the router
and the connection

thats what i could read based on the manufacturer site
and other sources
so dont quote me on anything

What Hedoe said seems to be about right!

It's a WiFi >> Ethernet addapter, sort of thing.
