Has anyone dealt with them? I was interested in a Sager laptop, and I just read an article praising them, but the BBB has given them an F. I'm not sure that is just faulty though, because it doesnt seem like there are many unresolved complaints.

Personally I had no idea who Sager was before I looked them up when I saw they had good deals on gaming laptops.
I googled them and found a bunch of links(http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Sager+PC+reviews&btnG=Search)

One said(http://www.laptopadvisor.com/sager-laptops.html) they looked like a good company, they have not heard of any problems with them, but at the same time have not heard of anyone buying them.
This person here(http://compreviews.about.com/b/2004/11/29/net-reviews-sager-8790.htm) stated that there are other smaller company's out there that are not even heard of but can be better than some of the larger companies.

When you can't find out if a company is reliable then you look up the reviews. And I looked them up and found nothing else but good results:

People here have bought and trust the brand:

I said before, if I had the money, I would most defiantly buy a Sager laptop.
They come with a year long guarantee and they seem to support that guarantee as one person said in the above forum.
Lot's of posts and threads about this company here and it seems like they are quite reliable:

Smaller companies control quality better than large companies.

Think of it like this. Have you ever heard of them before. I havent maybe you have. I would stay away from things liek this. You might get an unbelievalbe price. But something probally will happen to it. Idk. If it seems to good to be true it probably is.

ACER is the 2nd top computer company and i have 3 and they are old and they still work

Well I never said that they always dont work. i have bad experience with acers in fact, there actually the reason why i got in computers. you may have good experiences if you do well good for you. thats my own opinion you have yours.

To test that theory, please tell me what you would do in this situation:

A Canton iPod dock is selling on Ebay for $200. You can't find it any where else including on google and no one is bidding on it. What do you do?

If you said don't bid, then you would have lost a huge deal. Canton is a company in Asia that makes amazing home theater speaker sets that go for around $2K-$5K a pair. This iPod dock would normally go for around $500 retail and can delieve 50watts of power to each channel(each speaker). My friend who did buy the dock on ebay and I heard it myself. I never heard of the company, but I have to say, there the best quality sound to come from 2 speakers at full blast.

How do you know if a brand is good without trying it or researching the users that use it. If it seems too go to be true, if you have proof that people use them and are very happy, then it is true.

Both you guys, support your reasons! Post links to people who have had problems with the company. Don't just say its bad because it looks too good to be true, or that you never heard of the company before!
