Mother Board Trouble

Hey everyone,
Just signed up here, and I have a little problem someone can hopefully help me with. I have built my own computer but I am having some problems with it.

Computer Hardware:

Powermax BIO II Black ATX (case)

OPS: Windows XP

660 ATX OKIA (power supply)

ASUS P5N32-SLI-Deluxe (motherboard-socket 775)

Inel Pentium 4 Extream (CPU)
-CPU Fan
Kingston Ram
- 2 sticks dual channel (2gb)
- 1 stick (2gb)

Fujitsu 30gb (hard drive)

ATI Radeon X1650 Pro (Video Card, PCI-E)

Linksys g-card (wireless card)

CD Rom Drive

Problem: I have everything in my case and ready to go and I plug in all my stuff and turn on the power. The only thing that turns on is my CPU fan.

Possible Solution: My motherboard only has a 8pin (12v) connector where as my power supply only has a 4pin power connector. So I am making the assumption that the motherboard will not function with out the 8 pin (12v) plugged in.

Motherboard Manuel: http://dlsvr.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket775/P5N32-SLI_Deluxe/e2228_p5n32-sli_dlx.pdf

Also I found a converter for a 8pin (12v) connector and possibly that will fix my problem? Thanks for your help and I hope to get this resolved soon!
